Meet The Owner

It is my pleasure to provide my collective services to animal owners in Dawson Creek BC and the surrounding areas.

Too busy to walk your dog? Give me a shout! Scared of cat betrayal when cutting you cats nails? Let me handle it! Leaving town for a bit and you want the best care for your creatures? Leave them with me to give them all the love and care you would.

On October 5th, 2017, Selena was certified as a Professional Dog Walker with the International Academy of Canine Trainers.

Selena has also completed a 10 hr life saving course with Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid. She Is certified in Pet First Aid, for both Felines and Canines!

Just Recently Selena has become a certified Veterinary Assistant through Northern Lights College. Certification August 30th 2025.   

A little about me;

I Have been a proud animal family owner all of my life. Mainly cats and Dogs, but I have also had the delight of playing Mom/Owner to various rodents, fish and Reptiles.

Over the last 15 years, I have volunteered with several animal rescue groups in Northern BC. and In Alberta. Baby bottle feeding Kittens, Dog walking, trust builder, foster home,  rehabilitate home, animal transportation driver..I love to stay busy helping animal rescue groups!

However , 6 years ago I had to take a break from providing my services . I was rushed to the hospital and had to have emergency surgery on my heart in 2019

During my recovery, I received a lot of love and support from my clients and their animals. This fuelled my desire to get back to doing what I love: Helping out families and their fur babies!

Loveable Pet Care ensures we give back to animals in need by donating funds,services and Selena's personal time whenever possible to our local animal groups in Dawson Creek and others throughout Alberta &British Columbia as well. We have many connections all throughout Canada. Ask us today if you are a rescue group in need of support: we are always happy to lend a paw!

Loveable Pet Care started off as Steady Pet Care Solutions: It was opened in April 2017. We changed to Loveable Pet Care on 2021 to reflect our undying love for animals.
